ECO Initiative“Flying Pigs Recycle“. 🐽♻️

From Barcelona Beer Company we launched a campaign that wants to raise awareness of the environment called “Flying Pigs Recycle”, this initiative is to recycle our cans and other brewers, putting our labels on top. This is due to the fact that the consumption of cans in Spain has grown by 5.6% in 2021, all this means that Spanish citizens throw away more than 610,000 tons of aluminum containers per year.

In addition to this action we also reuse the yeast in our beers, the bagasse from the brewing process is used to fertilize fields, the cardboard boxes are used several times, in our factory we separate the waste by materials, among many other actions that we carry out to make our brewery more ECO friendly.
